Pork Back Ribs Chinese Style are tender and delicious cooked in a Slow Cooker Pot. Traditional Chinese recipe slow cooked. These ribs are fall of the ribs tender. The whole dish is cooked in one pot. The Recipe is below:
Slow Cooked Pork Back Ribs Chinese Style
1 rack of pork back ribs
3 tablespoons ginger
8 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tablespoons fermented black beans
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 teaspoons dark soy sauce
3 teaspoons light soy sauce
2 teaspoons oyster flavoured sauce
Clean pork back ribs in cold water. Boil some hot water and pour over both sides of ribs to clean impurities and remove some of the fat. Cut ribs into pieces of 2 ribs. Put ribs and ingredients into slow cooker pot.
In a bowl, add salt, sesame oil, 2 kinds of soy sauce and oyster
flavoured sauce. Mix ingredients and slather over the ribs in the slow cooker. Add water.
Make sure cord of the slow cooker pot is plugged in. Cover pot with lid. Cook ribs for 3 hours on high heat. Cook 2 1/2 hours more on low heat. Experiment with cooking time according to your own slow cooker pot. Ribs can be eaten after 3 hours, but they were fall off the bone tender after 5 1/2 hours. This recipe can also be cooked in a regular pot at low to medium heat. Cooking time varies with the pot you are using.
