My most loved comfort food is a macaroni and beef ragù dish my Italian-American mother made. In Connecticut we called it American Chop Suey, but it is known by different names and made different ways in other parts of the USA. Some cooks, for example, add chopped bell peppers. My mother never did. This video replaces an old one I did five years ago.
