I have been adding homemade Hot Chili Oil made from scratch to just about anything that I eat lately. I love spicy food and hot sauce but this is on another level of deliciousness and very different from the flavor of Hot sauce. I add Toasted sesame oil at the end to add that delicious nutty sesame flavor in with the heat along with some garlic. I add this to almost any chinese recipe I make and also to many other recipes where you want to upgrade your lunch or dinner with a little or a lot of heat.
