Chicken with vegetables is a summer proposal comes from Turkey with delicious chicken cooked in a saucepan with all the summer vegetables.  Recipe Ingredients 1 chicken cut into 8 pieces 4 tablespoons butter 2 onions, roughly chopped 2 cloves garlic chopped 4 juicy tomatoes cut pieces 1 tablespoon tomato paste 2 green peppers cut into rings 2 eggplants, cut in cubes fried 2 zucchini cut into rings 300 gr. fresh green beans 300 gr. okra 3 tablespoons chopped parsley vinegar salt, pepper Recipe Instructions In a bowl, put half a liter of water with a cup of vinegar. We put in the okra and leave for 1 hour. The rinse well. In a saucepan saute onion and garlic in half the butter. Add the chicken and cook until browned from all sides. Now add the tomatoes and 2 cups hot water and cook for 20 minutes. In a frying pan in remaining butter, saute the okra with green beans, peppers, courgettes and end of the fried eggplant. Transfer the chicken to the casserole dish in the oven, put on top of the vegetables, add another 1 cup water, salt and pepper and bake in preheated oven at 180th C for 25 - 30 minutes covered with aluminum foil. Remove the foil, let it cook for 10 minutes more and serve hot. |
