Strawberry Sorbet Easy recipe

Here then a cool recipe for delicious strawberry sorbet!
The sorbet is produced refreshing, cool and light with very few calories! Lenten course is it does not contain milk nor eggs! We definitely need to make ice cream this recipe.

* 1 1/2 cup (about 300 ml) water
* 500 gr fresh strawberries
* 1/2 cup (about 100 gr) sugar
* 3 tablespoons (about 30 ml) lemon juice
* 2 sheets of gelatin

1) Put water and sugar in a small saucepan to make syrup. Put the pot on the stove at medium heat, stirring periodically to dissolve the sugar.
2) Once the mixture begins to boil, turn off the stove and add the lemon juice.
3) Leave the pan over the closed eye for 3-4 minutes stirring continuously.
4) Meanwhile, wash and clean the strawberries and pour into the blender.
5) Put into operation in blender and puree the strawberries do.
6) Once the syrup is our "cool" and room temperature, add to pot the 2 sheets of gelatine and waiting to be dismantled.
7) Then add the strawberry puree in saucepan and stir well until completely mixed the syrup with strawberry puree and get a homogeneous mixture.
8) For best results, put this mixture in the freezer for 1 hour-so-cool thoroughly before you take the ice cream maker.
9) Pour the cold mixture in ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions to make the sorbet.
10) Once prepared the sorbet, pour into an airtight bowl. If we consume it directly or leave for a few hours in the freezer.


The amount of sorbet is produced close to 1.5 liters (expands greatly over the frosting and stir the ice cream maker).
Gelatin is necessary to make the sorbet softer and not "petrified" in the freezer. If you do not have gelatin sheets, you can use gelatin powder. In such a case it will use 1.5 teaspoon of powdered gelatine, which will drop as soon as the syrup off the stove (with lemon juice at the end of step 2).
We can accompany the sorbet with fresh strawberries and syrup of your choice.
