Traditional Greek Homemade Recipe to accompany us mainly Sundays eating with the family. Oven Baked Chicken with Potatoes Ingredients for 4 servings: 1 pc chicken cut into pieces 1 pound potatoes - Olive oil - Salt - Pepper - Lemon - Mustard
Preparation:
* Clean thoroughly and cut the potatoes into pieces of your choice and place the pan in such a way as to cover the entire surface. * In turn potatoes add salt, pepper, mustard, olive oil (about a cup) and with our hands to stir so that all can be fully covered with the materials. * Then add salt and pepper the chicken pieces and sprinkle with a little mustard. * Once you finish put the pieces in the pan over the potatoes. * Squeeze a lemon and add to pan. * Place the pan in the oven at 180 degrees for half an hour (90 minutes). * In 45 minutes open the oven and we turn the chicken pieces on the other side.
Notes:
* For best results, use a pot with a lid during cooking. 10 minutes before the end remove the lid to crisp the chicken. * If you want to throw a little oregano potatoes. * Accompany with red wine! |
