Orange sorbet recipe

The sorbet is generally preferred because they contain much much fewer calories (and conservative) of the ice and is very cool!

Let us now look at a recipe for homemade orange sorbet!
The orange sorbet contains no eggs and milk, and can be eaten without hesitation and remorse! To make the recipe will definitely need an ice cream maker.

* 2 cups (400 ml) water
* 200 gr sugar
* 30 ml lemon juice
* 2 sheets of gelatin
* 300 ml orange juice
* Zest of 2 oranges (optional)

1) With the water and sugar to make syrup. In a small saucepan pour two cups water, sugar and zest of 2 oranges.
2) Place the saucepan on the stove (medium heat), stirring constantly to dissolve sugar.
3) Once the mixture starts to boil, turn off the stove stirring.
4) Leave the pot on the stove off for 4-5 minutes and the syrup is ready!
5) Remove the pan from the heat and let syrup us to "relax" and to room temperature.
6) Once the syrup to room temperature, add 2 sheets of gelatine and waiting to be dismantled.
7) Then pour the orange juice and lemon juice and stir well until completely mixed with the syrup.
8) Before you take the mixture in ice cream maker, it is advisable to place it in the freezer for a oritsa order to cool thoroughly.
9) Empty the mixture in ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
10) Once prepared the sorbet orange, pour into an airtight bowl of ice cream and leave it in the freezer for a few hours before you eat.

The amount of produced sorbet is slightly less than 1.5 liters (expands during freezing process, with the help of ice cream). The orange juice is better to be fresh.
You can either use gelatin sheets or powder (personally I use gelatin sheets because I have noticed that it is more effective than gelatin powder). If you want to use powdered gelatin should throw in the pot 1 t 1/2 teaspoon powdered gelatin just close the stove, stirring well to dissolve the powder.
