Mussel shrimp-rice is a fantastic ideal to cook for today


Mussel shrimp rice

Mussel pilaf was our cook and Amalia older and very tasty!
Slightly different recipe as mine, but I was too delicious to have so many choices ;-)
In mussel pilaf me many times and add shrimps, which give extra flavor and taste, but you can skip if you do not want.
The fagaki this Lenten although in no case we have connected with fasting, and I make very frequent in winter and summer, especially in summer!
Enjoy one of the finest seafood dishes!

We need:
400 gr. mussel flesh
10-12 shrimp shelled
1 large onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
half cup ouzo
1 box cherry tomatoes concasse
¾ cup juice pummaro
half cup of chopped parsley
200 gr. Carolina rice
salt - pepper
In practice:
Saute onion in olive oil and garlic cut into slices.
Add the mussels and shrimp and stir 1-2 minutes sotaristoun too.
Add the ouzo.
Then add the tomatoes, the pummaro, parsley, salt, pepper and 4 cups water.
Reduce heat and let the food, covered the pot to cook for 10 minutes.
Then add rice and 1 more cup of water and continue cooking for another 20 minutes.
(My mug of 200 ml)
Remove the pan from the heat, cover the opening with a clean towel and let us fagaki for 10-15 minutes to absorb fluids.
