Lamb with the apricot -Turkish receipt Preparation: 2:00 Cooking: 1:00
Ingredients (for 6 people): - 1 kg of lamb - 300 G of rice - 24 dry apricots - 1 spoon with caster sugar soup - 50 G of fat contents (lard, butter or oil) - 100 G of butter - 75 Cl of bubble - salt, pepper
Preparation:
Make soak apricots during 1 hour in cool water then drain them.
Cut the meat in cube of approximately 4 cm then make gild them out of casserole in the fat contents.
Powder with sugar and let caramelize.
When the meat is well rissolée, remove grease and wet of 15 tepid water Cl. Scrape the bottom of the casserole to take off juices of cooking of the meat.
Add drained apricots, salt and pepper then cover and let cook with small fire during 40 minutes while stirring up from time to time.
Dissolve butter in a frying pan, pour rice and stir up until it is well coated with fat then add it to the contents of the casserole with the hot bubble.
Cover and let cook with very soft fire until rice is absorbed all the liquid. |
