Honey roast duck is a delicious dinner party dish

Honey roast duck

What we need for the Honey roast duck:
1 duck ,
3cloves garlic crushed,
small knob of ginger grated,
125 ml vegetable oil,
125 ml soya sauce,
3 tblsp honey,
juice and grated zest of 1 lemon,
1 small bunch parsley,
2 oranges cut into thirds,roasted seasonal.

Preheat the oven.Combine the garlic,ginger,vegetable oil,soya sauce,honey and lemon in a bowl and mix well.Place the washed duck with the breast side down in a large container.Pour the marinare over the duck and leave for 2 hours.Remove the duck and stuff the cavity with the parsley and oranges then truss with string.

Roast the duck for about 2 hours(45 minutes per kilo plus an extra 20 minutes),basting occasionally.
