French chocolate body recipe is a Classical Galicia pastry. Superb! For the cake
100g flour
120gr sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
5 eggs
For the filling
1 cup milk
150gr butter
100g caster
200g dark chocolate
2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons rum
Artistic Process
For the cake
Beat the sugar with the eggs for 10 minutes. Add sieved flour, baking powder and cocoa. In a pan poured a wax paper and sprinkle the mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 200 Celsius for 12-14 minutes.
Flip the cake on a wax paper sprinkled with powdered sugar, remove the previous wax paper and cover with a clean towel.
For the filling melt the dark chocolate in double boiler and add egg yolks and milk. Cook on low heat and then mix until the mixture become a viscous cream. We leave aside to cool and in the meantime hit the butter with sugar until fluffy. Mix the cream was the chocolate and add the rum. Spread 1 / 3 of the cream cake and wrap in a roll from the long side. The rest of cream covering the role from the outside with a fork to make lines that are reminiscent of tree trunk. Sprinkle with a little icing sugar. |
