Ingredients for Chocolate and apricot brownies:
100g/4oz butter,
100g/4oz chocolate couverture,
300g/10oz golden sugar,
2 eggs beaten,
2 sachets vanilla,100g/4oz flour,
50g/2oz organic dried apricots quartered,
50g/2oz walnut
and almond pieces.

How to cook Chocolate and apricot brownies:
Preheat the oven .Lightly grease a 20cm/8in square shallow tin and line the base with greaseproof paper. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Remove from the heat and beat in the sugar eggs and vanilla.Stir in the flour apricots and nuts until well combined.Pour into the prepared tin and bake for about 45 minutes.Leave in the tin to cool slightly and cut in squares.Make 12 brownies.
