Chicken curry and green apples recipe




Chicken curry and green apples easy recipe


Perfect with white basmati. Especially spicy, with curry to dominate, but apples to "steal" the show. Depending on how spicy you want it increase or decrease the amount of curry.

1 large skinless chicken and cut into portions
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
1-1 1/2 green apples.
1 tablespoon curry
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tsp coriander powder
salt and freshly ground pepper
4 soup spoons of extra virgin olive oil
Season chicken. In an open pan heat the olive oil and fry the chicken. Remove from the pan and put it on a platter. Put the onions and saute. When brown in a casserole and pour in the chicken. Add the apple, peeled and cut into cubes, curry powder, 1 ½ cup water, cumin, coriander, salt and freshly ground pepper.
Cook food in the pan for 15 to 20 minutes.

Tip:-Alternatively, you can instead use whole chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces. The time of cooking but it will be a little more.
-You can do even more by adding a rich flavor with the apples and 1 tablespoon dried blond.
