Berliner Spheres with apricot jam is a perfect snack for fast food

Berliner Spheres with apricot jam

Ingredients
200 gr. flower
1 tsp. salt
30 gr. brown sugar
1 packet yeast, dried
50 gr. butter
0.5 dl. milk
2 eggs
7 el. apricot jam
Frying oil
Powdered sugar

Preparation
Berliner Bulbs are also very good with bosvruchen, strawberry jam or some other tasty. You can then replaced by another apricot flavor.

Please preferably lukewarm milk.

Sift the flour with the salt and sugar into a bowl. Stir in yeast. Melt the butter over low heat. Make a well in the flour mixture and pour the butter with the milk. Keep whisking the eggs with the mixer. Knead the dough 5 minutes on the lowest setting. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and a piece of plastic wrap and let dough rise for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, heat the oil in the fryer to 160 degrees Celsius.

Dust the work surface with flour and roll the dough to a piece of 0.5 inch thick. Press it through a glass or uitsteekvormpje circles, diameter about 6 inches from. Brush the edges with water and spread the jam on half the rounds. Cover with the other circles and press the edges with a slightly smaller glass or with the fingers closed. Fry the balls in about 8 minutes until golden brown. Turn them halfway and let them drain on paper towels. Sprinkle the balls with powdered sugar.
