 Serves 6 to 8 people
4 cups water 2 cups basmati rice 1 1 / 3 cup chopped green onions 3 / 4 cup minced fresh parsley 3 / 4 cup chopped pecans 1 / 2 cup raisins 1 / 2 cup walnuts 5 tablespoons olive oil 5 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons soy sauce 2 1 / 2 teaspoons cumin
Preparation
Put 4 cups water and rice in a large saucepan.
When it starts to boil lower heat and simmer for about 35 minutes.
Drain if left water and pour the rice into a large bowl.
Allow to cool.
Mix the chives, parsley, pecans, walnuts and raisins.
Pour the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce and cumin in a small bowl and stir in dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad, season to taste and serveins and pecans |
