Serves 4:

2 large apples (such as Jonagold or Gold)
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
4 slices of cake
the juice of 1 / 4 lemon
4 tbsp. amaretto or calvados (or red currant syrup for children)
4 sheets of aluminum foil (± 30 x 30 cm)
